New Era For Japers Music

For the past two months I’ve been practising with two Musician Friends Alex Coxhead and Andy Roberts playing a variety of different instruments.

The new trio has a skiffle feel to it. its great to be playing my music with other people. We already have gigs in the pipeline and will post up some details soon.

2010 is shaping up to be a good year for Japers music.

Ukulele Nights Gig

I’ll be playing bass with the Ukulele Knights this Friday at 2 gigs, but I think they’re private gigs so no point telling you where they are!

Bosko and Honey Competition

Ukulele Knights Gig

A couple of weekends ago the Ukulele Knights had a gig at a Micro Beer Festival in Cardiff. It was great fun, we had a about 12 of us playing. Its ideal having a big band as you get an instant audience of friends and family members to go with it!

Jeff on GTFM

I had the opportunity to play on GTFM last month thanks to Richard Reast from Pontypridd Folk Club. I played Mr Balloon Man and Taking Milk.

Jeff goes Balkan

I had the pleasure of returning to Cafe Jazz at the end of April thanks to Andy Roberts Balkan Night. It gave me chance to try out my dancing Bunny, he hadn’t performed live before and coped very well. You can see him in the video below and the rest of the performance on my youtube page.
