Jeff Japers

Jeff has been playing the ukulele for about ten years. His passion for it has grown in the last few years as he found a community of players on myspace. This gave him an opportunity to find an outlet for his music and get some feedback.

In 2006 Jeff’s myspace page was noticed by the BBC Radio 2 show ‘The Day The Music Died’. Press the red button to hear it.

Jeff’s ukulele adventures on the internet were rewarded at the end of 2007 by him winning the Risa Ukulele Video Competition. As a prize he got to choose a Risa ukulele of his choice from their website. You can see part of his competition entry here.

2008 & 2009 has seen him get a few gigs under his belt where the response has been really good.
